On July 23, 2020, a meeting of the Executive Bureau of the International Association of Treasury Services (AIST) chaired by the Head of the Treasury of Ukraine - President of the Association Tetiana Sliuz was held by video conference.

The General Secretariat of the Association was represented at the meeting by Jean-Marc Neil - Secretary General, Abdesamad Kasimi - Deputy Secretary General, Christel Volpi - Adviser.

It will be recalled that members of the AIST Executive Bureau during the meeting on June 2, 2020 unanimously, given the current uncertainty about the epidemiological situation in the world caused by coronavirus infection COVID-19, expressed support for the postponement of the Annual Symposium scheduled for September 21-23 in Ukraine in Kyiv, in the spring of 2021. The meetings of the General Assembly and the seminar (working group) were preliminarily agreed by video conference at the end of September 2020.

In accordance with the agenda of the regular meeting of the AIST Executive Bureau, the participants considered the date and format of the AIST General Assembly and the seminar (working group) in September 2020, and agreed on the above event. During the dialogue, it was decided to hold a General Assembly and a seminar (working group) on September 21, 2020 in video format. After discussing various options for the seminar, the members of the Executive Bureau  focused on the most relevant for the treasury community issues - accounting risk management, taking into account the challenges for treasury services in a global pandemic.

Ukraine and Morocco expressed their readiness to share their own experience at the seminar (working group). Vietnam and Kuwait are also considering speaking as speakers. This composition of speakers will provide an opportunity to learn about the implementation of treasury competence in a pandemic on different continents.
