On May 15, 2020, an operational meeting was held via videoconference between the Head of the Treasury of Ukraine Tetiana Sliuz and the Secretary General of the International Association of Treasury Services (AIST) Jean-Marc Niel (Paris).
Tetiana Sliuz was selected as the President of AIST on General Assembly (Lome, Togo) on December 4, 2020 and has to coordinates the work of the Association. In addition, a meeting of the Annual Symposium and General Assembly of AIST is scheduled for September this year in Kyiv with the participation of about 80 delegates from around the world.
This raises a number of issues that need to be addressed, including the current global coronavirus crisis caused by the 2019-nCoV.
During the videoconference, Tetiana Sliuz and Jean-Marc Niel worked out solutions that can be proposed to the Executive Bureau of AIST for inclusion in the Association's Action Plan in 2020.
As the President of the Association, Tetiana Sliuz had agreed on the remote form of holding the next meeting of the Executive Bureau of AIST on May 25, 2020. During the meeting of the Executive Bureau of AIST, a common position will be developed on the possibility of holding the Annual Symposium and the General Assembly of AIST in Kyiv in September 2020.
It is worth noting that the members of the International Association of Treasury Services (AIST) are successfully overcoming the challenges of today and continue to work in the field of budget services, sharing experiences in a global pandemic.
